Style Icon: Zooey Deschanel

Next up in my Style Icon series is the lovely Zooey Deschanel. You may have seen her in New Girl or films such as (500) Days of Summer, Elf and The Happening. Acting isn't her only talent though, she can also sing and plays many instruments including the keyboard, banjo and ukulele. She is also co-founder of HelloGiggles a positive online community for women that covers a wide range of topics. These aren't the only reasons I love Zooey Deschanel, it's also because she has the prettiest clothes and fantastic style, take a look! 

I have to admit I can hardly watch New Girl anymore but not for reasons you may think. Jess's style is just so cute and pretty that I get really jealous and I find myself wanting her whole wardrobe. Add to that her beautiful hair and make-up and I've got a full blown green-eyed monster on my hands! I have no shame in admitting that she was my inspiration for getting a fringe and not Taylor Swift as everyone seems to think although as you know she is another style icon! Her style is quirky but it's not too out there and she has fabulous style but never compromises on comfort. She can typically be seen wearing vintage-style dresses or full skirts and cute jumpers with tights and ballet flats as I've shown below.
